Had a really nice pickup today again. Local add from a nice lady. She told me her son was a dreamcast lover but he moved on. She also said that she kept a few of the best ones to play. Anyway. This is what I got. Condition ranges from sealed (Ikaruga) to very cellar wet Virtua Athlete 2K.

Paid 150 for the lot.

Is it typical to find PAL, JP, AND US titles over there? ???

Another small Craigslist pickup for $20.

Game Boy Color
Donkey Kong Land (Game Boy)
Mortal Kombat Deady Alliance (GameCube)
Perfect Dark (Nintendo 64)

DK Land and Perfect Dark are up for trade.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

I have to say it is not mega common but it happens from time to time. US versions are more common jp stuff is very rare over here.
But still if you are always on the look out you can find almost anything.

Was the same with my SNEs pickup I had two weeks ago (on page 2). There were also US and PAL versions mixed in there and luckily one of the US games was FF2 complete and almost mint. Very strangely almost all of the snes guys games were looking really nice. Very weird considering he brought me everything in a trash bag. ;D

So some of this is from late July (I've just been procrastinating taking the picture).

Now one of those SNES games is obviously not like the others. I had some credit card points saved up and decided to bite the bullet and get Earthbound off of Amazon, so it was essentially free. But it was still the most nerve racking week of my life since I bought it sight-unseen. I'm pretty sure it has a reproduction label because it doesn't seem to be laminated but I opened it up and the pcb is legit and plays and saves fine. It has some saves on there of 60+ hours already.

NES
Super Mario Bros.
Super Mario Bros. 2
Excitebike
Mad Max (slight label damage but I bought it  because my brother asked me to, and come on it's Mad Max!)
Golgo 13
The Mafat Conspiracy

SNES
Super Mario Kart
Earthbound
Super Mario All-Stars & Super Mario World
Final Fantasy III

N64
Pokemon Stadium w/ Transfer Pak
Castlevania
Mario Tennis

Playstation
Star Wars: Dark Forces

Do you think that collector version is worth the money and would you be able to scan the cover of tales of xillia 2?

If you are into having the odds and ends like figurines and art books, then yeah, its a bit pricey but not as bad as some other collector's editions of games.

I have not even decided if I'm opening it yet.

I have Xillia 1 and Symphonia both sealed still and now Xillia 2.

If I still had a laptop I'd ask my local GS employees if it was cool to scan their shelf copy...alas....my Lappy-top is no more and I don't care enough to replace it.

Another trip to Louisville, so I thought I would hit up Half Price Books again.

Playstation 1
   Tekken 2 (Greatest Hits)
   Need for Speed High Stakes

Playstation 2
   Crash Tag Team Racing
   Crash Nitro Kart
   Crash Twin Sanity
Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex

Playstation 3
   Rock Band 2

Playstation Portable
   Metal Gear Ac!d 2

Nintendo GameCube
   Animal Crossing (Player’s Choice)
   Donkey Konga

Nintendo DS
   Snood 2:  On Vacation

I already have Snood 2, but I haven’t seen any types of scans or covers for this game.  This one was CIB and pretty cheap so I bought it so I could scan it.

This reminds me, next weekend HPB is having 20% off everything in the store. They usually do it on holiday weekends so I'm guessing Labor Day is that Monday. If you have one nearby you should check out what they have because although they don't have a huge selection, they usually have good prices.

Crap, I'm primary on-call for work then.  I can't be more than 15 mins away from the house. Been waiting for another discount day (Like 50%) and going to hit all 5 in my area.  And by that time maybe cycle around and hit them all a second time.
