Now that TheValeman procurred the 'RARE-HTF-OOP' N64 Snowboard Kids 2 from e-Bay for a small fortune and uploaded the cover, my N64 carts now all have homes.

No more loose N64 carts!

Thanks buddy!

It's on ebay Germany for ~$33 new+sealed. Seems to be one of the more rare titles that I have never heard of either :)

The only Cruis'n World boxes on EBAY for a reasonable price aren't in great condition going by the photo's I checked recently. One game I have been looking for personally .....

Rocket is a hard one to get on EBAY. Last US boxed version I saw went for close to $50 US if I remember rightly  :o

I could've picked up a mint PAL one for $15 but as I had changed to NTSC I passed it by. Maybe not a good idea in retrospect.

With the words of one of todays greatest poets, Lemmy Kilmister : "The chase is better than the catch" :)

There are disproportionately expensive games for all regions on all consoles, often games that you had almost bought, games you had seen for a cheap price, but for some reason you didn't buy them and later the price just exploded :( . My Holy Grail is Cosmic Smash for Dreamcast.

It's a troublesome endeavor to complete your own personal collection but in the end I'm sure it pays off :D

Getting Snowboard Kids 2 complete was my major effort. It's sooo hard to find boxed with manual in good condition. The front/rear were nice but the spines were crushed. Still ... I think it came out alright in the end.

I have close to 70 N64 games now ..... but I want to eventually get all 300 games released for the US console. It wont be an issue for 95% other than money .... the last 5% will probably double the total price though.

Haha, you sound like me with NES. I wanted to bid on that one ebay auction for every NES game but I decided against it when the price went beyond the value of my car. ╬_╬
I want to case all the NES and Famicom games I own (which now numbers around 130 games), which will prove sagneficently more difficult due to age.

Wow, you're going for a complete set of the US releases? Talk about ambition and dedication! If you get Mortal Kombat Trilogy let me know, this is the only cover I need to complete my collection.

Yeah, there's always that dirty dozen of games that burns a hole in your wallet, and in most cases that's exactly the games you want, or at least some of them :)

I was pretty sure we had Mortal Kombat Trilogy. In fact I created a pdf manual from wshbrngr's scans that he sent me on CD. I dont know if it also had scans for the box but I've PM'd him to check. If he did create the box I'll get him to re-upload it. If he didn't ..... well ..... another one to buy I guess.

Update: Nope ...... you're screwed. Turns out he has the manual only. SO it's back to EBAY I guess....

Hey there!

Today my N64 Bomberman64(JAP) arrived with the post.... I was vry happy until I opened the package...

Okay so it's a "new" game... :) The spine is damaged.... Jipieh... But I can live with that so I looked at the artwork on the front nice and then I turned it around and thought I'd start crying....

They've put two stickers on the back with epilepsy warnings(I understand they maybe have to do that because of legal issues - can't read the jap warnings) but the stickers are really BIG!!!! Maybe the half of the back of the box is a red sticker!!!!!!!!!!
Ok but not enough bad luck I tried to get it off myself... Was thinking... Well the'll be clever enough to take stickers which come off easily.... NNNNNNNnoooooooooo.... They come off but only by destroying half of the underneath artwork!!!!!!!!!!

I'll upload the raw cover when I get home anyway... Hope some of the masters of N64 will be able to repair it......

EDIT:
I upload the stuff as we speak....
The cartridge is finished allready but the back and front not.... I could do the front myself but the back is way beyond my skill level of cover making... Besides I think the N64 covers shouldn't be done by a noob like me.... There is this special spine I don't know how to do and as I read from other posts theValeman is pretty strict about uniformity and quality of the N64 section... So enough talk here they are:

Cartridge(finished - 300dpi - hope it's ok):

Front(good condition - no stickers - 600dpi - better for editing maybe):

Back(really really bad condition!!! - 600dpi - hope someone can repair it):

Thanks in advance to anyone who is willing to repair it.... :)

Regards Seb

Rocket: Robot on Wheels

That is a game I had never heard of before.....  Checked e-Bay, no boxes or instructions available  :(

Rocket is a really fun game! It was developed by Sucker Punch, the same guys behind the Sly Cooper series on Playstation 2. As a kid, I spent so much time creating roller coasters and riding them in the amusement park world.

I bought it a couple of years ago used and it hasn't aged well. It seems harder to play than it used to.
With Rocket, Rayman 2, Super Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie, and Donkey Kong 64, the N64 is the game machine for platform games!

The late 90s were the height of the Pokémon craze and I was as caught up in it as anyone possibly could be. I remember saving up $80 from allowance and going to an import shop and buying Pocket Monsters Stadium 1 and 2 before the US Pokémon Stadium even came out. I still have the boxes and want to upload them. Is there an N64 template I should use or should I just kind of approximate it?

In case your wondering, the games worked like this:

Japan                                                        US
Pocket Monsters Stadium                         N/A was never released
Pocket Monsters Stadium 2                      Pokémon Stadium
Pocket Monsters Stadium 3: Gold & Silver   Pokémon Stadium 2

Have a look at Banjo Kazooie on this site or Sin and Punishment or Mario Kart. All have japanese covers already made so it'll give you the look ....which differs a lot from the US/PAL cases
