PS. Any chance you could scan the label at 300dpi and the manual too?

Definitely. The manual and label are in much better shape. It may take a bit to get the manual done. I'll let you know. I have manuals for pretty much all of my games so if the are others needed let me know.

Excellent. We are trying to preserve the labels for those you have ripped/marked ones as you can print them using labellers like the Xyron 250.

When you scan everything dont crop to close. Leave room around the edge of everything. It makes it easier for me to align etc.

I have pdf'ed approx 90 N64 manuals .... a lot haven't yet been shifted over from the FTP site. I have created a N64 list that shows what manuals we have etc so once we can get that online you'll be able to see what's been done and needs to be done. Are you thinking of pdf'ing them yourself or submitting raw scans?

At this point it will likely be raw scans. I don't anticipate having a lot of time over the month or 2 to do much else. I will scan this one and when the list is available can work on anything else we may not have yet. I assume it should be uploaded as a zip/tar file? I may also see if I can flatten the box out some more for a better scan of the back. I suspect it was in great shape before shipment but was sent in a bubble mailer and got crushed. I think if I detach some of the internal pieces I should be able to improve it quite a bit. I sure liked the SNES boxes with the separate inserts better. Thanks Valeman for working on these. They look great.

Sorry ..... real life takes front seat at times. Plus there's the issue of Snowcone updating the site with new covers .... he's way behind at present.

I still have Zelda-OOT, Excitebike & GT64 to do and I think wshbrngr was looking Coupe de Mondomaniacs 98 although he may have finished it and is also waiting for uploading.

They will get done I'm sure .....

Should it just be under World Cup '98 with a French flag?

  • ...and that's the bottom line
I think that would be a good idea. To have the English title as default. That's what I did with the German PS2 cover of Flushed Away because the movie has a different title in Germany (a lot of movies have and even a bunch of games).

That's a really good idea to kepp the english names because the german/austrish names are often horribly translated.... E.G. Flushed Away = Flutsch und weg!!!!  ;D
I think if games are named in german at first it's ok to keep the original name(but did that ever happen)?

A yes another question.....

Would there be interest for japanese N64 games covers too?
I'm thinking about buying Bomberman 64(JAP version is special never released outside of Japan) for my NTSC N64 because it's on my list and I found it "cheap"(14 Euro) on Ebay...
