tiktektak:

I think there is a lack of interest to make the Bomberman64 jap cover...  ;D Could be because the back is a mtf big amount of work...

So this means I'll do it myself in teh next couple of days/weeks.... Hope it doesn't take me that long...

The front and spine will be no problem but the back.... Pffffff... There is not just the destroyed artwork but also still some glue from the stickers on it which interferes when scanned... Does someone know a good way to remove this glue wothout dmaging the cover further? I've got something I clean cartridges with which works very well on glue but I'm afraid it will be to aggressive for the cardboard box....
Suggestions?

Regards Seb

well, I am not sure how bad it is.....
I do the following to my boxes (this also works well on cd/dvd cases)

1. If there are stickers, I heat them up with a blow dryer to soften the glue, then slowly/carefully peel them off.

2. Sticker residue can be removed a couple of ways (depends how bad it is):
a. I use the sticker I pulled off and dab the residue with the sticky side of the label and it removes the residue.
b. I use a product called goo gone. I put a (little/tiny/small) amount on a cloth and (lightly/softly) use it to remove the residue. (you have to be careful as it can also remove the colors from the box)

Sometimes its just better to leave the residue, scan it and fix it with photoshop.
Each case is different.

I am in the process of creating a cover for this box. The front and spine are complete .... I did a hack job on the spine to get a better English looking Jap spine  ;D .... and yep .... the back is a bitch!!!!!!

I'll post a copy of what it looks like today so you can have a look. There's lots of sticker residue to it is a mission ......

tiktektak:

Oh thank you for taking care of my cover.... :)

I wanted to start tommorrow but if you have allready taken on the job I'm very happy! As you said too the back is really bad....
I hate stickers...

If you want me to I can try to remove the glue a little better and rescan the whole back... Would be worth a try...

Thanks a lot for your help!

Regards Sebastian
