5 Reasons TG16 CD / PCE CD

Hey Guys,

I was hoping to get your insight on the TurboGrafX 16 CD / PC Engine CD. I've been considering grabbing one for almost a year now but I haven't found a good enough reason to own one, especially if I'm going to drop $250+ for just the console.

I would appreciate it if you could give me 5 reasons WHY owning the TurboGrafX 16 CD / PC Engine CD is worth the investment. (FYI I already own a TG16 and I will likely get the PCE w/ CD if I decide to pick up the system)

Because the Cd unit really had some great games if you want to afford them. Especiall shooters and RPGs.

Just get it!

I would recommend selling your TG16 and getting a DUO though. Those normal CD units are more than prone to breaking.

The PC-Engine/CD is one of my all time favorite systems. All the systems have beautiful designs. There are tons of NES classics that made their way to the PCE such as Gradius and it has a lot of great Arcade ports from the late 80's and early 90's. It's very much an over looked system by gamers and collectors in my opinion. So games are still affordable and it looks great in one's collection. I believe the value of games will spike in the near future.  If you do buy it, get the PC-Engine CD as there's no regional lock for the CD portion and it makes it cheaper to buy Super System Cards. Plus, many of the best games were only released in Japan.

I'm not a shooter fan, and I'm a die hard PCE fan.  If you like shooters it has some of the best, but at the time is also had the best RPGs.  (I'll admit they're simplistic compared to modern ones though).  It has some good fighters (I love flash hiders; but it's unplayable with 2 button controllers, no combos work).  It's got some fun action games on it too, and a surprising amount of action RPGs (more so if you include the chip games).  And it's been proven to make your penis larger.  I know whenever I look at my sleek duo, mine grows an inch or two.
