Well shit! Yeah, that definitely sais "Reproduction Label".

Haha, a quick glance will easily miss it ... As I can't tell much from boards, I look at the labels for inconsistencies. It also helps that I've seen that same type of label at a Flea Market here locally and fairly recently as well. Fortunately the guy was selling it at repro cost instead of trying to make big bucks ... but who knows, board could have been authentic, maybe just a label replacement? I didn't bite on it, so I'll never know.

Well now you know what to look for! These are good things to keep an eye for anyone interested in buying an authentic Little Samson board.

Someone should really open up a website dedicated strictly to documenting things to look for when buying these really rare and expensive titles. Hell, it chould even have a blacklist on motherfuckers who have tried to pull a scam on people in the past. eBay usernames , forum usernames etc...

Not a bad idea there ...

Geeze dude, 5 posts one after the other? That's what the modify button is for. Merged these all into one post for you. Don't be afraid to turn off the caps lock either! ;)

Can you say spam? ;)

Or at minimum breaking the rule of no repro selling.

I've seen his posts in retrogaming groups. Very spammy and repetitive in multiple topics.  ::)

Looks totally legit to me. No different than my copy!

On a side note, the labels on all my really rare Taito titles are mint, mint, MINT! ;) Let's not forget these were all released pretty late, so it's possible most of these didn't get the chance to get messed up before they were forgotten.

Looks like a reproduction box. There's a member over at NA that makes that exact box.

This game never came in a box.

Yeah, the cart and manual are probably authentic. But the box is 100% a custom reproduction.
