never liked that they renamed and americanized the Dragon quest box art  so i started tinkering around with a custom cover using the proper title and box art  from the famicon versions but im goin to use them to replace my covers on my dragon warrior games

i know these wont be accepted  because its been near impossible to find good box art scans from the famicom versions but when finished they'll be in my box account

Lookin nice.  I personally would split the difference and leave them as "Dragon Warrior" but with the DQ artwork, but the way the title works into the artwork I suppose that's probably easier said than done.

Reminds me of the SNES FF2/3 covers with the Yoshitaka Amano artwork from FF4/6 jp on their covers.

I only have covers of 2 and 3, though I have scans for all of them, Beastman used them for his covers.

Also, the links for your covers, BM, are wrong, you have to choose share, you can't just copy the URL.

Links work well, thank you for this. Sadly, until you posted this I never knew Dragon Warrior for the NES was a part of the Dragon Quest games, I remember playing Dragon Warrior 2 when I was younger.

Dragon Quest was renamed to Dragon Warrior in the US.

yea there was a D&D style game called dragon quest in the us and they renamed them to avoid copyright issues
