YOUR Biggest Blunder while Collecting?
BadChad:
I've got a few.
I was one of those "out with the old, in with the new" kids, always trading my current consoles for the next one in line. I was never one to throw away my boxes either so I always think of all the badass shit I'd still have today if I traded up.
Another one would be when I sold my copy of Chubby Cherub to my cousin for $5 a few years back, and then all of a sudden it became rare. Fortunately for me, my cousin decided to part with his collection, so I bought it back for the same $5 I sold it for! ;)
But my worst one was probably around when I first started getting into collecting just under 10 years ago, and passed on a copy of Flintstones: Surprise at Dinosaur Peak for only $15 at a local pawn shop. I remember picking it up and thinking to myself "$15 for a Flintstones game? Yeah right...." ::)

In 2004 I got my first job working at McDonalds. When i started earning my own income my collection truly started. There was a locally owned gameshop a few blocks away that I would visit frequently after work. I was buying up NES, SNES and N64 games that I've always wanted. I dropped hundreds collecting that year (a lot for a 15-16 year old making $5.15 per hour before taxes).
The Nintendo DS just came out and i was infatuated with it. I could only afford one game when it launched and i was craving more. The gameshop had every title that was available for the system, which wasn't many at launch. I had $60 to spend on games one day I was shopping. I passed up a BRAND NEW Earthbound CIB they had on the back shelf for Asphault Urban GT and Feel the Magic: XY/XX.
let the shaming begin :'(

I would say that my biggest blunder is throwing out all my cases for my ps1, ps2, xbox and dreamcast games to save space for storing them. I have a lot of them and they took up a lot of space so I put them into large cd storage folders and I have been regretting it for the longest time.
