New NES Template cover.

I like it like template as it is now.

Only 3 things that bug me are not from the template itself, but artistic choise:

1: The space above screenshots is empty so I would re-arrange the title to go there too.
2 : Same title arrange ment to the spine as it bit cluttered looking now.
3: Left Acclaim logo (the one on the back shoud be 5mm left of screenshots right edge.

Just suggestions or strict guidelines for the persons that will make these covers.

And maybe 2 other things: the NES-WO code should be in bigger font and maybe front image needs borders (which color?)

I like the template.  While I have no intention of switching over the 150+ NES covers I already have cased, but I could see using this to make placeholders for games without cover art.

I would go with the Red NES color for front border, I'm gonna try it right away. I will fix the left logo so it it 5 mm of the Screenshot, and ill try to see if i can squeeze something up there with the game name! brb with a new screen... hehe

Fixed the left Akklaim logo, and put a red border on front. Squeezed the game name up there and moved the backtext a bit. Also thinking..should the white border around the Screenshot should be Nes Red too? i think it would look better myself...

doesn't this colour scheme seem a little......garish?  i mean i can see where you're going with it, but it kind of smacks you round the face a little.

I can try to clean the logo when I get home.
The logo is 2 tone (one yellow, one orange) on very different color back ground, so I think I can separate it quite nicely in Paint.net.

Now I know what I gotta do when I get my new TV and computer = start converting all NES covers in to this format in anticipation of Shadowfox's NES cases.

I'm after some sort of template that is as simple as US Vertical but in NES color scheme.
I like this one already really much.
But this is still at concept level so we are open to suggestions.

Yea Arseen, I'm going through all my already printed NES collection...around 100ish.... Ill do the one in my collection first, then i will help converting the rest with you hehe! It's gonna be a long and tedious job! But if you do the logo , i can do the whole mounting hehe!
I'm fine tuning the template right now so all we have to do is some copy/paste ....and logo editing, i can send you the Gimp template when done too, just ask ! I named it, Nintendo 8 bit Shenske-Arseen-MisterDaSausage .....quite inventive...lol

I use Paint.net so I don't know how it handles Gimp templates, but if all else fails I just need JPEG of empty cover that I can then easily convert into Paint.net template.
I already did that for SNES US, PAL & JAP (and my own edit REPRO) Verticals and US Horizontal.
They are simple 3 layer templates.
