New NES Template cover.

So, being OCD like i am, i wanted my NES Game to have all that same look, i've been working/thinking of it for a while (being no expert at this hehe). I wanted my nes game to look kind of like the SNES Vertical one on the shelf.
So i used Shenske 8-bit template to make my own template. Here is the first result of it (its not complete yet, i didnt change the bar code and stuff)



What do you guys think? Should i continue or give the project to someone way better than me at this hehe! Its taking quite a long time for me editing the photo to get somewhat good result

Yeah gray background.
I've been toying around with NES template in my mind:

- On spine maybe 1 inch black stripe at the bottom (company logo goes there), then thin red line above that then rest is gray and at top the TCP NES logo.
- Maybe same style at the back. with 2 screenshots and area for back text.
- Front is obviously full size NES front image (or 90% scale with borders in same style as spine).

I'll try to whip quick mock up tomorrow.

Yeah it was easiest to illustrate my vision by drawing over exsisting cover.

Besides it just confirms your status as master when others emulate/copy/rip you off.

Yeah, all my cover ideas are based on your template
And Arseen, i like that template idea, ill try to work on it today if it rains outside
And i was going black to fit my snes cover and because i don't print em myself, so black, white purple gray whatever is the same price for my printing Didn't think about other who makes their own impression....my bad
But seeing it gray like that, it will make a nice difference on the shelf and they will all look the same !
So ill try to work something out with shenske nes template!

The "SNS P C8" in the lower left strikes me as out of place.  I'm sure those codes actually meant something on the Super Nintendo... for example, SNS probably means Super Nintendo

Not sure what you might want to do with it, but that was the only thing that jumped out at me, otherwise yeah looks real good to me too.

Yea, the SNS thing was just a placeholder, it always change with whatever cover you are doing, just need to get the good code.

And here is the first cover done with the template 3d Worldrunner ( this one got the good bar code and ID)

When you say done, I hope you don't mean finished.

Those logos are stretched and  nasty! 😉

Lol, the concept or template is done, this is where real artist comes in (not me, i suck at this)
I really don't know how to make good logo and stuff, i did the template with Arseen idea and Shenske base template, now i need good people that know how to use photoshop and such hehe!
I can do whatever is needed...except art hehe!

There is one thing in there that bug me, its the gray and red on the front cover bottom right...not sure if i should just remove the red bar or strech out the front art for a full front cover...
