Ive bought my first house recently and my games are slowly coming out of storage, this is the beginnings of my games room/office. The bulk of my games on display at the moment are for the N64 but as soon as I've sorted out a carpet, I can get everything out and in one place for the first time ever which i'm quite excited about.

Nice.  Keep the updates coming.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

A few recent purchases or things I've dug out from storage, the gameboy was in my parents roof space so I re-bought a couple of my childhood favourites to go with it.

First thought was "That's a strange variant of ridge racer, never seen it...".  Then I scrolled up, saw you had all those white spine PS2 boxes.   And scrolling down confirmed you're from the land of Pal.

You have some great quality titles... except for the racing games! :-)

What's wrong with racing games?

I'm just joking. There's nothing wrong with the racing games.

I had a few hours free today so ive adapted some old ikea furniture that was past its best to make a media cupboard, it's a set of malm drawers that had broken so i put in two shelves for the consoles leaving a gap at the back for the cables to drop down and then a small letterbox hole in the back just under each shelf to let the cables out unseen. At the moment i'm using a pair of really cheap scart 3 way switching boxes to select the right console but i'd like to replace it with a single unit that looks a bit slicker.

On top I've shortened a 'billy' bookcase and the tv back sits in the bottom shelf area.

I've got ps1,ps2, gamecube, and n64 on the top shelf and dreamcast, wii and original xbox on the bottom.

I kept the bottom drawer in place to keep the spare controllers in

..and here's a general room shot, it also doubles up as my work office.

Nice setup for the TV. Compact and full of consoles and controllers.
Can you get far enough to use the light gun or super scope?

I'll have to check that, do you know roughly how much they need? Ive got about 2.5 metres to the bookcase opposite it but thats on a small corner wall so at a slight angle ive got around 4 metres, might just have to twist the tv a little. I picked up that panasonic recently for free, i used to have it's 28" brother for the older consoles but bigger screen is always better right?

Yep, very English I'm afraid, and on that note I'm going for a cup of tea.
