Free is Free, doesn't matter if it's digital. Neither Sony nor Microsoft reward me for buying their games. Even if it's just a digital game for my 3DS, Wii or Wii U, I appreciate it.

I'm not going to argue your point, but I still feel like I'm getting jipped out of all the coins I was saving. It's like every time they get something I really want, by the time I am able to get it its gone lol.

I remember reading a similar thread on nintendoage.com. Half the users were of the opinion that the digital gifts currently offered suck and that Nintendo is cheap, the 2nd half of users thought the 1st half were ingrates that want something for nothing and that they should be happy to get anything. I've never participated in the Nintendo Club myself, but I know that in years past they offered a lot of physical rewards so the move away from this has disappointed some. For me, it just takes away any incentive to participate in the program personally even though I have quite a few codes; I'm not really too interested in digital. I like to be able to hold a game and put it on a shelf. I guess this is just a part of the modern age of gaming.
