the shitty thing about having fakes is that while they will play, they won't work to transfer pokemon. at all. and they're really not worth shit.

Looks like I'll be putting the GBA games back on the "want" list since I'm not following through with the sale of these fake ones from Texas.

(Side note -- someone from Nintendo Age is wanting to sell cart only Ruby, Emerald, Leaf Green, and Fire Red ... for $112. I haven't seen them yet, and I'm going to ask for photos, but that price seems a little too high. Thoughts?)

Talked to some old friends around town and found someone that had 4 of the GBA games (sans Ruby) and a GBA. Got all of it for $30. These copies are legit.

I have no clue why I didn't think to ask him sooner. He's a bit younger and still in to it, but not the older stuff, and doesn't really pay attention to value.

One of the harder ones for me to get was Black, I had B2 and W2 from when I played them, and I stumbled on White by accident when I bought Ruby/Fire. Good luck!

When I was younger I grabbed every Pokemon game that came out ... at some point in my young childhood life I decided it would be an awesome idea to trade in all my GBA/DS games to GameStop. Now that I'm older and collecting again I would love to get them back. Luckily I still have my original Red / Blue / Yellow / Gold / Silver / Crystal games  I also do have Pokemon Y as I am finally getting back in to it.

So if anyone has any of the Pokemon games from GBA - 3DS to sell, please let me know, as I would be willing to buy basically every one of them again, but not really for GameStop prices.

The original ones I almost got were very much bootlegged copies, I'm glad I asked the guy for more up close photos of the back and labels so I could tell. With the jacked up Nintendo logo and ESRB along with the wrong looking board, I slowly figured it out still, it was a sad day.
