Some of you may be aware of this little gizmo:
http://segaretro.org/Arcade_UltimateIt's a little portable Sega Genesis made by a company called AtGames, but is actually officially licensed by Sega. It has been known by many names - Gopher, Firecore, Arcade Ultimate, Genesis Portable.
It usually comes pre-loaded with a selection of Genesis games and some terrible built-in games, but it has an SD card slot for adding more games. It plays the games well, and makes a great way to play rom hacks quickly if you don't own a Genesis flashcart. The only defect is that the sound is way off, noticeably lower than it should be. Even so, with the sound off, it's not too bad.
I kind of consider this the closest thing we've gotten to a Sega Nomad successor (officially licensed one anyways), so I thought I'd make a 3DS case cover to house its SD card. I attempted to make the cover reminiscent of the Sega Nomad box, and even created a similar "Gopher" logo. The art comes from Sonic's Ultimate Sega Genesis Collection/Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection.
