awesome man thanks.  unfortunately i print out lemmings then i run outta ink halfway thru next print.... bahhhhhh   now i gotta order more ink before i can finish.  son of a.....

@arseen   i tried to rescale and im not quite getting it    i actually dont even know how to check dpi and i figured out how to rescale image i think but it already shows 25% there and when i change it to 32% it just makes the image a bit bigger and its already too big   im obviously doing something wrong n dont quite understand it

edit: i figured out how to check dpi and it shows it at 72.   should i then change it to 96 and then change the scaling to 32%?

edit: i tried what i just wrote but seemed to just make image much larger again... didnt print tho as i hate wasting valuable ink... easy to say im lost... haha

Open the image in paint, and check properties, DPI is there.

If it's 300 -> print at 100% scale.
If it's 96 -> print at 32% scale.
If it's 72 -> print at 24% scale.

To calculate the correct scale divide the DPI it's showing with 3 (300 DPI / 3 = 100%).
