July 2014 Pick Ups Thread

Just ordered a AV Famicom, so I can finally play that lot of 170 Famicom games I got months ago.

I have some of the games in the lot, The one I wanted was Splaterhouse.

Easily my best haul of all time, I'm still so pumped about it and it was two days ago! I grew up with the GameCube and it is my favorite console, so getting GC games is the best especially since I never see them in the wild. I got all of this from my sister's boyfriend who decided he was going to get rid of all of his old gaming stuff from when he was younger..and for $5 a game! Total on this lot came out to $125, and according to pricecharting is worth about $460.



Not pictured is a Wavebird Controller and Gameboy Player with disc, also only $5 each

I actually ran out of cash when I was buying them, so when I get some more cash I'm going to get some games that he couldn't find that day (such as Pokemon Crystal and Platinum and Paper Mario for GC  )

The month keeps getting even better. Went back to the same guys house and picked up the last few games I missed and others he had found and also hit up some yard sales this morning.

Pawn Shops/Goodwill: Donkey Kong Land 2 $5, Jak 3 $3 and finally...from my local Goodwill that somehow only ever has a lifetime supply of DDR for PS2 and Madden 99 I managed to find this

Really!?! I don't play Pokémon games but I just saw a copy today at my local pawn shop and they had a CIB copy for only $15. Maybe I should go back and grab it...

Yeah BadChad, definitely worth it. I bought a copy for 20 and sold for 70, bought a cart only for 8 and sold for 50. This is AU prices though, even then I though those were ridiculous
