It's close enough to July, so I'll start it out with June pick ups.  ;D
To be fair some will arrive in July.

First games:
In a trade from Megatron - DKC 1, 2 & 3 and Mario All-Stars - $45

Figures - Bigbadtoystore:
Samus figma figure - $50
(Unpictured) Super Mario Figure Arts Set B (Blocks) - $20 (I got another set)
Invader Zim Series 1 - Ms. Bitters - $14
Invader Zim Series 2 - Zim & Pustulio (Hot Topic Exclusive) - $35

DVDs:
Dexter's Laboratory - Season 1 - GoodWill $3
Invader Zim Vol 1, 2 & 3 - $35 eBay

The Dexter DVD sparked my interest back in DVDs, and I saw the older Zim DVDs on eBay for a good price, The same price the new DVDs go for that do not have any special features. I actualy got the Zim's House DVD boxset back in the day, but accidentally got the set with no DVDs, only the bonus DVD and figure. I never got the rest. It is still a great series and aged very well, even more than Dexter's Lab, and is a great example of a cartoon series written for all ages instead of children, me and my Mom watched a few episodes together.

With the Zim figures, I had the entire Series 1 when they came out 10 years ago (10 years? Dam) but I was 9 and played with them. Even though the slogan of Palisades Toys is "Play With It!" I did and they all easily broke and I lost all the parts.   :(  I do not get why they made fragile collectable figures of children's shows. I have a sandwich, a screen, Ms. Bitters name tag, and a broken mishmash of 2 Gir figures left.
I'm not going for a completest set this time around, I'm just after the main cast and 3 sets. I wonder how many people are reading this?

For thous who may care I'm going after I'm going after:
Series 2  - (HT) Human Disguise Zim - GOTTEN!
Series 1 - Gir With Pig Saucer
Series 1 - Dib with Computer
Series 2 - Gaz With House Part 3
Series 1 - Ms. Bitters With Classroom - GET!
Con Exclusive - Old Man Zim & Doggy Gir

$45 for the set, I believe.  Hope you like them.

And out of curiosity, did you ever get DKC 2 to work?  Hopefully you did  If not, you have a nice replacement shell if you find a crappy one in the wild.

I have not tested any of them yet.  :P
I've been busy graduating and some other things, And my SNES is on the frits as well, the power jack needs replacing.
I have a working DKC2 cart so if it does not, no big deal. If it does I may give it to a friend who is just getting into retro gaming.

They were the last few SNES games I was seeking at the moment.  ;D

Been a little while since i did some pick ups! Been a good week though!

Will start with my last week of June here

Value Village trip got me 3 xbox game (All 3 games got a 1$ reduction)
-Star Wars the Clone Wars + TetrisWorld 3$
-007 Agent Under Fire 3$
-Hitman Blood Money 4$
-Underground Jampack winter 99 was for free
-Bound by Flame was 19.99$ at my local game store (got a 20$ fidelity reduction, at that price i had to try it)
-AC4 Benjamin Hornigold was 4$ new again at my local game store ( had a 75% reduction on all figurines)
-Nintendo 2DS Sea Green was 99$ at walmart last week, since i didn't have one yet, decided to get one and didn't pay for it...wife paid it for my bday :)
Now to find some good 3DS game, im pretty new to 3DS ! So ill take any obscure game suggestion or plain good one!

-Not Pictured for June, i got an almost brand new SNES, wires and 2 controllers (No Box), was pretty mint, not yellowed at all works like a charm with Top Gear game....will trade in my old yellowed one for store credits and keep this one. That was a donation from a coworker, she will gives me all her games too when she finds em :) I'm quite happy bout this!

Now for the first day of July, went back to local game store and found a gem!!

2 Ps3 games for 5$ each
-Earth Defense Force insect Armageddon
-Alpha Protocol
Heard great things about these game, so why not!

And last but not the least, Soul Blazer ! Got it for 44$ which is a real good price here, and finding it without expecting it, my best retro pick up this year!
I never saw it in the wild before and even on the web i never saw it below 60$ without shipping, so quite happy! Only thing with it is the back of the cart is quite ugly...but ill switch it out with the top gear one from above!

I still can't figure out how to beat the first boss in Soul Blazer, I need to give it another shot.  I just can not seem to get his pattern down.

Man oh man do some of the current prices for vintage games just surprise the crap out of me. A decade ago if you had told me Soul Blazer would be $40-$50 loose I would have laughed in your face. Really makes you start to feel your age....

I still think $40 is pretty decent for a good SNES game.

I find filling out my SNES want list much more satisfying than paying $70 for a new retail title unless it's something like Mario Kart 8.

I spent $100 (much lower after trade-in) a couple of weeks ago on Congo's Caper, Sparkster, and Skyblazer and I've been playing the crap out of them.

I spent $30 on Super Metroid last summer and am now just playing it for the first time.  I love it and can already tell that it will be an annual play through for me for sure.
