Wasn't going to make my usual weekly thrift store rounds but decided I better. Good thing I did, got these for the prices marked. Theres one gem in there a tad bit better then the other two I'd say.

Ahhhhhh drooling over your savers pickups!
My best ever pick up from a thrift store here was... Coraline for ps2...LOL
Im jealous, my thrift store sucks!

I will say to never expect these things when you go. I've been hitting these thrifts for a good 1.5 years weekly and sometimes twice a week and this has been the 2nd or 3rd time I've had a big find. Although one was more quantity rather then value (load of decent NES games and Atari games at a different thrift). My other big value find was at a different thrift I stop at, had a big box of Commordore 64 games and I found Wasteland in mint condition which was selling for $100-150 at the time, it's cooled off a tad bit now.
Heres some pics of those two finds.
Nothing will beat my best yard saling find which was this lot though, included games like Megaman 2, 4, TMNT: Tournament Fighters, etc.
The stuff is out there, you just gotta be persistant.
TAFK:
Will update with pics later but went to Half Price Books for the first time last night.
The game section is really well kept and surprisingly very reasonably priced for some titles. I got
Final Fantasy 8 (Greatest Hits) CIB - 9.99
Dynasty Warriors 3 - $3 [not the greatest deal but I love DW and have been looking for this]
If you have never been to a HPB and are looking to find some games these places know how to deal it seems. They price the usual stuff at higher prices (Mario, Zelda) but everything else is priced under VGPC prices at least at my location.
Nacho3:
Not only does HPB price there stuff semi-reasonable but if you sign up for their mailing list they occasionally send coupons for up to 50% off that can be used on games. They don't have the best selection but I stop by every once in a while and find something.
Ozzy_98:
The major city closest to me there's 5 half priced books, so when we see the 50% coupons, wife and I make a shopping trip.
Also grumble grumble at C-64 games, I think I might start getting into them. I finally decided to count them all in my game collector program so now I'm about 30 games shy of breaking my 2,000 mark.

I don't collect C-64, I honestly only bought them at the time to flip.
