Found this just up the street at a yard sale just now. 
Complete model 1 NES system with 2 controllers, AC adapter, and RF switch and the 3 complete boxes NES games......18 bucks.
Asking price was 15 for the system and a buck each for the boxed games.

and...over 200 issues of Nintendo Power and Nintendo Power strategy guides.  $20 for the box.  Haven't gone through it yet, but thumbing through I see a lot of good stuff in there.
*EDIT...I was told there were over 200 issues, but in actuality there are only about 150 or so.  My guess is becaause the highest issue # is 207, that the seller assumed most were in there.  Still, not to shabby.*

I have a terrible story about that game..about 4 years ago when I was first getting into collecting (I was 11 or 12 at the time) my mom bought me a Super Nintendo with a bundle of games off one of those Facebook swaps for like $20, and I was just excited because it came with Super Mario World. I didn't realize at the time it came with Demon's Crest and that is was worth something. So fast forward to a few months ago, I'm going through my old eBay sales and realize I sold Demon's Crest for $10 BIN on eBay way back then  . I was a little sick to my stomach lol.

Well, to be fair, Earthbound wasn't that big yet.  No one had any idea how cotly that game would be, and here were two games from Square and Capcom - at the time it was a good trade.  a few years later...well, it's like the stock market - hard to predict what games will spike or plummet.

I got this plus a "broken" NES with one controller, a stack of Nintendo Powers and some random other crap for 70 bucks. I almost crapped my pants in joy! 

Wow! Really nice pickup! So much RPG goodies! you got some of the best RPG of all time in that lot (in my eyes) Lufia 2, FF2, Chrono Trigger and Earthbound!
It's official, I'm really jealous!! hehe

Thanks!!! someone had some pretty good taste in games. I wanted them all luckily, even the stack crappy games for parts.

Garage sale a few days ago - PC games were a dollar apiece, still sealed with the price stickers on them (except for Battlefield). I just cannot comprehend paying 50 dollars for something, then sitting on it for years like that... For reference, those are Circuit City stickers!

Same guy is selling CIB Pokemon Yellow and Gold for 45 and 35 respectively and a sealed copy of Silver for $100.
