July 2014 Pick Ups Thread

Found this just up the street at a yard sale just now.
Complete model 1 NES system with 2 controllers, AC adapter, and RF switch and the 3 complete boxes NES games......18 bucks.
Asking price was 15 for the system and a buck each for the boxed games.

Nice score. You think it's bad in the uk, it's worse here in rural france. At least uk has car boot sales.

Picked up a nice haul at a garage sale today that I am really excited about!
DS Games - Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow and Pokemon Pearl (no box) $5 each
Purple Game Boy Color with Pokemon Gold - $10
Ghouls 'N Ghosts (torn label) - $3
FREAKING DEMON'S CREST - $3 (!!! ;D)
and...over 200 issues of Nintendo Power and Nintendo Power strategy guides. $20 for the box. Haven't gone through it yet, but thumbing through I see a lot of good stuff in there.
*EDIT...I was told there were over 200 issues, but in actuality there are only about 150 or so. My guess is becaause the highest issue # is 207, that the seller assumed most were in there. Still, not to shabby.*

I have a terrible story about that game..about 4 years ago when I was first getting into collecting (I was 11 or 12 at the time) my mom bought me a Super Nintendo with a bundle of games off one of those Facebook swaps for like $20, and I was just excited because it came with Super Mario World. I didn't realize at the time it came with Demon's Crest and that is was worth something. So fast forward to a few months ago, I'm going through my old eBay sales and realize I sold Demon's Crest for $10 BIN on eBay way back then :'(. I was a little sick to my stomach lol.
