Are these really worth buying?

I tend to get a little OCD with my game collection and like to own the entire series of a game I own, even if I know I will never play it. I have Marvel Vs Capcom 2 and was thinking about picking up these for the PS1:

Marvel Vs Capcom
X-men: Children of the Atom
Marvel Superheroes
X-men Vs Street Fighter
Marvel Superheroes Vs Street Fighter

Money isn't the problem, it has more to do with the shelf space, which I would like to keep open for something I would actually use. Should I just quit whining and finish my set, or put my foot down and change my obsessive ways?

Children of the Atom is a great figthing game but be sure to get it on the Saturn.... It's much better than the PS1 version in my opinion.....

Dude, I have tons of stuff I will never play.  If this is a series that you want to collect Just get the set.  This past week I bought my 3rd New in box Gamecube.  I will only use one but now I have the 3 collors they made here in the USA.  Nothing wrong with collecting, just get a bigger shelf..

What tiktektak says goes for the entire series. They're good games, but the PS1 ports are trash.

I'd say quit whining These are all great games. Among the best I'd say. Children Of The Atom has the best Boss fight in any fighting game in my oppinion. Magneto has so many different attack patterns it's crazy but at the same time he's never cheap using the same power moves over and over. He's just damn hard.

If you have a Saturn I'd highly recommend buy all these games for Saturn instead of PS1. The PS1 has longer loadtimes and lacks some frames of animation. But if you hust have a PS1 get them anyway.

Well, I quit my whining and bought all of them, however Xmen vs Street Fighter did not come with the original case so I am missing the back insert.  Can anyone who owns it possibly scan it upload it?  Thanks
