If You Could Only Have One Console........
larryinc64:
A tough call between a Gamecube W/GBA or a DS W/GBA (Both basically the same experience), or a PS3 with backwards compatibility with PS2 and PS1 (Like the one I have).
It's a tough call, PS3 with full backwards compatibility has a huge library of games, but lacks my Mario and Zelda fix.
Can I duct tape a Gamecube to a PS3?
Hypothetical situations are hard.

That's it damnit. The next person to try and beat the system gets NOTHING!
In fact, they have to send me all their systems and games. ;D
Megatron:
If I am truly limited to one, I would go with the Xbox 360.
It was my console of choice the previous gen, and I am addicted to Achievement hunting. So if I could never play another console, at least I have a library of hundreds of games where I could just rack my gamerscore up ridiculously high.
Dr.Agon:
would a supergun count? all the arcade classics without emulators...
or my consolised MVS? games the same as AES but cheaper...
if we can only have a console made by a major company, sega, nintendo etc. then i would have to pick the SNES, so many classics on that!
Kriegspire:
A Wii I guess. Backwards compatible and all.
Huge library combined for that :P
