The engrish on the back is intentional; it mirrors what was on the "original" box that I have seen this sold in. Same thing with the sprites and screenshots on the back.

I also cleaned up and redid a few in this thread, if you would like me to post them. Mostly colorization and background tweaks, along with the side text and version info being proper typefaces.
