So I'm in the process of flattening out all of my original boxes and sorting through manuals to prepare for scanning. (just have to get a scanner  :P ) I'm unsure what the best solution for storing the boxes in this way is... Would it be best to separate these in their own plastic (maybe sheet protectors) to keep them from rubbing against each other and causing wear? Perhaps in a binder of some sort? What kinds of solutions have you guys come up with in this sort of situation?

Maybe this question is a little OCD, but I want them to remain as pristine as they can be.

Game box protectors, or if you want to save space sleeve protectors and then then put them in box with few moisture sucking bags.

Space saving is definitely a major motivation. I found some comic book sleeves that look like they will work nicely. Thanks for the tip. When you say moisture sucking bags, I'm guessing you mean those little silica bags that come in shoe boxes? (I think that's the last place i saw one anyway)

Im actually doing the same thing. Im using Ultra Pro silver age comic bags and boards with 3 ring binder holes to keep in an organizer. 4 or 5 trapper keepers are alot better than multiple expensive shelves.

Yeah, it makes a big difference for space just having them all flattened as they are now, so far they fit in one drawer instead of taking up a substantial portion of one half of my closet space. I didn't get any backers/3-hole punched sleeves, but I may end up upgrading to something like that later.

I actually found some neat posters and maps that I didn't know I had while i was doing all this, I'm may try to get them scanned in the next couple days for people who have an interest in them. I've got a dance recital to attend for the afternoon, but I should manage to get some pictures up in my collection thread by the end of the night.

Hey Desolis i just checked out your photo gallery and I was wondering if you had these gameboy game manuals?

Final Fantasy Adventure (I think I saw that next to a pokemon manual) Final Fantasy Legend 1,2 and 3?

Any pokemon manual for gb/gbc/gba?

They aren't huge priorities of mine as most of the games I have now don't have manuals but those i'd like to be "complete" i use the term loosely because they aren't in original boxes and won't have original manuals =)

Thanks!

Yeah Final Fantasy Adventure is there, but that's the only one of the GB FF's I have. Are you looking for a recreation (Scan) or the original manual to add to your collection?
