Nintendo recently released a downloadable copy of Brain Age DS in Japan so you can use the TV/GamePad as you described above. It would be nice if they did an adapter so you don't have to re-buy your games but that will probably never happen.

I feel bad for the Wiiu. All of the parents I know still buy their kids wii stuff, and all of the gamers I've talked to about it think it's a joke. It might become more popular when Smash Bros and Zelda get released, but the people who are sick of old nintendo IPs aren't going to change their mind.

Right, but even though I don't care about the 3D funtionality, I would still buy a 3DS over a 2DS if and when I ever decide to get one. Personally, I hope they come out with my idea so that I don't have to buy a 3DS. The portability isn't really important for me since I would almost always play it in my home. I would just rather have the game on a TV screen with a proper controller in my hand.

For the same reason, I'm hopping they bring the Vita TV over to the US so that I don't have to buy a Vita.
