Netflix App On Wii U

I found this interesting... didn't know what to make of it.

I was googling for how to switch profiles in Netflix (or at least sign out) -- and there's no way anyone would know to do this except to google, or play around for hundreds of hours until you did it by accident, but if you press: up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, up, up, up, up (Konami variant) inside the Netflix app, you get an info box for your account info and other things.  One of them is Device Model and under that it says "Wii U Metroid."

With further googling, all I found was a reddit conversation that said this is probably Netflix's code for this version of the software for Wii U.  But that just seems so random to me.  But if that's the case, then I don't think the software has been updated since they launched for Wii U.  Just trying to see what anybody else knows about all this.  I hate watching Netflix on my Wii U because the pad doesn't turn off and I can't switch profiles.... this was just a result of trying to fix all that.
