Yeah my setup, when I get around to making it, will have a sort of stool/table for the system that's being played at the time. Saves me the issue of trying to plug them all in at once with switches and power strips both having to be daisy-chained and such. Plus takes into account systems like the Odyssey^2 with its keyboard, the Intellivision with the side-loading games, the Colecovision with its controller cords that are about 6 inches long, the death star Genesis that's about 3 feet tall when all assembled, etc etc etc. If I get really clever, I might try to find a way to have the RCA jacks and power built right into the stool/table, but that'll make it a pretty permanent fixture wherever I put it, so we'll see if that happens. Then again, I'm pretty lazy. We'll see if my mythical setup ever happens at all :P |
