Infamous...cough...watchdogs...cough...... ;D

Honestly, neither of those games has thrilled me.  Never liked iNfamous as a series, so I am not really a good critic of that one, but Wacthdogs was disappointing, especially in the visuals.  So far the only next gen game that has truly lived up to the hype (for me, anyway) is Wolfenstein.
That said, I sold my PS4 a few weeks back, but will probably get another one when the Order 1886 comes out.

For me, infamous is the best series I've ever played. Period.  The story really got me hooked.  I will admit that the ps4 version is lacking in both visuals and story, but, it was still an awesome game to play through.

Watchdogs, another disappointment visually, after all that was promised, and all the delays (simple things like reflections and splashes when you run through puddles would have made a big difference) but the game plays fantastically. Lots of diversity in the missions.  Driving sections that actually work (unlike the sloppy pile of shit that is the gta series)., great skills tree, weapons crafting.  It's a pretty deep, well thought out game.  I like it a lot more than I thought I would.

Funny thing, I recently picked up Beyond: Two Souls for PS3 and was playing through it for a couple days. Then went over to my buddies place where I got to try a PS4 for the first time with Watchdogs, and I was not at all impressed with the visuals overall. Especially with just how much better Beyond looks playing on the PS3. Now I understand a lot of the main focus for Beyond is to make it look as good as it does, but to be significantly blown away by Beyond in comparison to a new gen console title was pretty disappointing. But it's not the PS4's fault...

Similar thing happened to me recently. I played Mario Kart 8 and Super Mario 3D on the Wii U and I noticed that it can go toe to toe with PS4 and Xbox One visuals even though they say the Wii U is extremely underpowered in comparison to those consoles.

Beyond does look nice but Beyond runs in letterbox view so it gets away with the amazing graphics only because it doesn't have to render anything for 1/3 of your display. It doesn't have any gameplay also so that helps also. ;D

You are right though it is not the PS4's fault. Ubisoft downgraded the crap out of Watchdog's graphics from what was originally shown at E3. Looks like shit on PC as well.  :( Ubisoft doesn't give a shit about optimization anymore, just copy and paste ports. Curious to see how it will look and run on Wii U later this year.

Though I'll agree about Ubisoft not giving a shit.
