I see some people have a collection bar when they comment, what is one that will track every generation of games, I've had a look at Retro Collector but that only goes upto PS1

RFGeneration.com is where I keep my collection.  I know there's a way to get a banner with your collection stats on it, I just never bothered.  Nice site though, and very responsive to new additions (I've put in 1 game for the CDi and 1 for the Wii so far, both appeared less than 24 hours after I submitted the info)
Attempting a complete NTSC-U NES set.  Sell me your games!
Click for What I've Got.  253/677 licensed games, 39/95(??) unlicensed

I like backloggery, myself.

You have to hand-input all of your games, but it gives you the freedom to have things arranged how you want - so you can input your own titles, which is a huge benefit over other sites that have a list to choose from.

You can select regions for titles, and you can put in progress notes and things like that. It was mainly designed to help you track and complete your games, but it's worked well for me as a collection tracker for years now.

I set one up with IGN years ago. They maintained it pretty well and when something wasn't listed an email got them to add in in a matter of hours. After site redesigns though I found it hard to add games to the list as its through their normal search and you have to add the game after you get to the games page. It used to allow you to type in Mega Man then check entries in the results to add a bunch all at once and I'm pretty sure thats gone now.

I use game collector, and book collector too. But they're pay programs, and the mobile apps are just to view your collection, not add to it. Plus no ones made a banner for any stats, just a url link like in my sig.

Being an accountant, I've always gone with Microsoft Excel.

If you set up the spreadsheet properly, it's a pretty powerful tool.

well i have both, RF-generation and Retro collect. if you see in my sig in the Rf generation i have 86 games (that's the true) and in Retro collect i have 72, that's because they don't have NTSC US PS1, PS2, Wii, Xbox, Xbox 360 ........... in retro collect i had to add my US PS1 and Ps2 like they were EU games to appear in the banner, but still missing some of the games that came only to US and also missing all my wii games. I have talk to them (retro Collect admins) about those missing games and some other issues that they have, and they only tell me that they don't know how to modify the page, they have a company or a person that do that but he lives far from the place to make the changes on the page (didn't understand that but that's what they told me), That was like a year ago and the page still with the same issues and still missing a lot of NTSC US games

I prefer RF Generation it has all games and they have an app, so when i'm going to buy a game i check the app on my phone and see if i have that gemes. the only think missing in RF Generation is a % of games own in base of the total of games ever made for each console, if they have that it would be the perfect page for me ;D, i have talk to the Admins and they told me that they will see what they can do.

I'm Still in retro collect only because they have the % of game own in base of the total of games ever made for each console, that's the only thing they have that keeps me with them, but that's only for My Nes, Snes, And N64 games, like i told you they have a lot of missing NTSC US consoles

Yeah its going to be hard to track all games, info and generations, but if people help out it will be a really good site, I have a feeling that its a UK based site hence why they have such a large Europian collection but hey, good for my im from the UK so it has all the games I have, but the covers,  alot of them are missing so people will have to find internet scans
