RetroHanson:

Any other VA hunters out there.  I been hitting the pavement for about  a month now and it seems pretty dried up in my area.  In a months time I have only seen 1 Nes 3 Snes and 2 Sega games at yard sales not counting flea markets.
Mostly all I find is Ps2 sports. yay. for $2-5 each (.   I did manage to score a 3ds xl red for $5 at one sale.  Last weekend i picked up a sega genesis & 4 cib games(Streets of Rage 2 was one) for $5. A boxed Snes(Yellow'd) with Donkey Kong Country boxed and Yoshi Island boxed for $30 for the lot (no books).  I bought a Super Metroid for $30 from a reseller I thought it was fair since I been dying to play this one again.  Afraid to see what I find this weekend cause I dont have much to spend this will be when i find something good.  No pics cause im at work.

heading to Dublin this saturday in hopes to find something at the flea.... I'm from WV and I gotta say, even the flea markets have been Dry not just yard sales, really starting to get discouraged. But a really good pawn/gamestore just opened up not to long ago in my area and the guy is very reasonable with his prices and has allot of stuff from old to new. Its not yard sale prices but at least i can find some things instead of going to the flea to find a copy of Ice Hockey for NES....i swear i think that game is stalking me.

I'm from VA too, Hampton Roads area and I've run across the same problem.  Every once in a while I'll find a good deal at a yard sale or at one of the local thrift stores but for the most part, I think a lot of people know the value of their stuff.   Unfortunately (or fortunately) Ebay and price-charting have made it pretty easy to look up.  Oh well, I'll just keep making the rounds.  Best deal I found was a whole bunch (around 50 or so) various sega games ranging from genesis games at $1 to Sega Saturn and Sega CD games for $3.  There were a few good titles among a lot of trash but overall a good deal.

Pretty cool.  I will be in the Dublin area but doubt we will visit the flea market just yard sales.  I live about 1.5 hrs away from it.  Im without a vehicle atm so i ride with my dad so im pretty much have to go where he is going.  There is a retro store in the princeton area probably worth a stop.  Pixel nation they just moved there like a month ago dude is pretty cool and got some good prices on some stuff.  That and there is a pawn shop in my area where sadly is only way i can get NES but for decent prices. Happy Hunting !

Megatron:

You guys all seem pretty far south in the state for my spots.  But there are some decent places in Northern VA in the fairfax area.
