Lynx - Chequered Flag |

--- Quote ---No, I don't have the mod. Did you do it yourself, or get someone to do it? --- End quote --- I did it myself. It's as easy as mods get. It would be a good mod for someone who hasn't used a soldering iron before. I don't know what you skill level is for soldering, but I would recomend getting it especially if you are a big Master System fan. --- Quote ---Can't even remember everything that went in the box - you'll have to put it in the December pick ups thread. Lol --- End quote --- I'll have to do that as it will probably be my only pickup of the month other than my Turbo Everdrive which I will get for Christmas. ;) --- Quote ---Lynx - Chequered Flag --- End quote --- Awesome. ;D |

Not used a soldering iron for over 25 years, but I'm sure I could handle it. Will have a look into it. ;D |

It plugs into the expansion port on the back, but it doesn't require punching out the plastic cover on the back. In fact, you don't have to modify the exterior if you don't want to. I only made a small hole for the switch on the back. But if you don't want to drill holes on the case, you can run the wiring through the vent holes on the back. I just like the clean look of the switch. http://etim.net.au/smsfm/smsfm.html |

Oh, and that line around the white part of the Lynx covers really helps. :D I printed out several last night and they look great. I'll eventually post pictures of all of them. |
