In all it's glory. So happy, and lucky to have a family member who lives in New York, nab me one of these. Really did not feel like eBaying this, after seeing the going rate for these things.

I passed up on the ltd edition (eu version) as I thought the extras were a bit shitty.

The North American version was only sold at Nintendo World Store in New York, and are extremely limited. Not sure exactly how many were made, but some are claiming only 350. The Australia and European versions are far more common as anyone could go up to their local game retailer and preorder it.

North American versions are ranging from $200 to $400 on eBay.

I would, but I unfortunately don't have a scanner hooked up.

Ugh, a Blue Shell is the extra in the LE?

Argueably the worst item to exist in the MK universe tbh.

White Tanooki Suit?
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

The Blue Shell is just punishing for players that can actually win a race on driving skills. I don't even know what a White Tanooki Suit does, but that's probably just something weak you get, like a banana in first place? :P

The White Tanooki Suit isn't in Mario Kart.  I misread your earlier statement that the blue shell is the worst thing to exist in the "mario kart universe."  I read it as "mario universe."  So nevermind.

I don't mind the blue shell in multiplayer.  But it drives me crazy in single player.

I've always disliked the blue shell but recently I earned a new hatred for it in MK8

I was about to finish a race and unfortunately I was in 4th place.  I saw the little notification that there was a blue shell behind me but I wasn't too concerned.  Since I was in 4th I thought it would just skip me...but no.........I got hit with it!  I guess since the first 3 already crossed the finish line I was in the "lead" :/

That being said...I don't love the limited edition, but I do like it.  I'm going to try and see if a friend of mine is still working in the city and I'll ask her to pass by the nintendo store to see if by any chance any are still available.  If not then I won't worry about it but I'd be happy if there were more lol.
