Some pick up's from my birthday today! (a couple from late may but whatever, they were for my b-day)

Grind Stormer CIB - Was shooting the shit with Shenske a couple weeks ago and found out he was thinking of parting with this! Without hesitation I told him I was interested! It's going to a good home! :)

Earth Defense (The Earth Defend) CIB - Not the greatest Shmup, but one I needed and I was happy to grab a new copy for less than what most people wanted for a used one!

Mario Kart 8 - A gift to myself! Got a $25 Best Buy card for my B-Day on Friday and completely forgot that's when it was releasing when I walked in the store.

Soldiers of Fortune/Chester Cheetah Boxes + A bunch of other misc. stuff thrown in from Blumpkin I wasn't expecting to get! - Funny coincidence this all happens to come in when I least expect it to, and on my B-Day of all days! Thanks a bunch for everything! The extras were not necessary, but definitely appreciated! I still owe you a cover, don't worry I haven't forgotten. ;)

Jelly of Grind Stormer.

Oh, and happy b-day!  How much of an old fart are you at this point?  I think a few of us are bordering on "what, you still play those things?!  how old are you?" :P

Was out grabbing office supplies at the local computer store. They sell console games too, but that section of the store is so severely neglected and I'm willing to bet that they get virtually zero sales from it. So they occasionally have decent clearance items/prices :)

Happy Bday!  Lol, my bday was just a couple days ago on the 31st.  And I actually did the same thing...I got myself Mario Kart 8 to gift myself haha

Nice, well happy belated B-Day! Always gotta treat yourself! ;) How are feeling about your Mario Kart 8 purchase? Got a good couple sessions in over the weekend with some friends and I'm pretty happy with it. Loving some of the new changes like the increase to 12 racers at once now (though things are much more crazy/hectic now!), and the way Lakitu picks you up almost instantly after you fall of the track without any item loss penalty!

Yeah, I found out Shenske had this a while back when we did a trade and I was pretty jealous too! Untill I bought it from him, that is! (well, my girlfriend bought it for me for my B-Day :P)

Well, I wouldn't say I'm an old fart just yet, but I'm getting there. Turned 25 yesterday so I just made the Quarter Century Club! BTW, where the fuck did 24 go? I'm kinda scared with how fast life flies by now! I'll definitely be one of those  "what, you still play those things?!  how old are you?" guys! I'll be playing these things until my hands seize up ad refuse to work anymore! And since I still prefer my NES, SNES and Genesis over anything else, as long as my thumbs still move, not even that should stop me! ;)

Are you talking about the show?  I missed it too.  DVR didn't record anything. >:(
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

9 times out of 10, I'm being a smart ass.  This other time (including this time) I'm being a dumb ass.

I guess I just read that wrong because I was pretty pissed that I missed the show last night.

I'll try to catch it on one of the streaming websites.  I still don't know what went wrong last night.

I'd still rather be a smart ass than a dumb ass.

Actually I'm pretty happy with my purchase, the game looks great, playing on the game pad is very convenient when I just want to hop on for a race or 2 while still watching TV and the changes and additions are pretty good.  I do have to get used to only having 1 item though lol I hate feeling vulnerable if I have to use an item between item box points lol

Multilayer is crazy hectic too and also a bit cheap but I still have fun

Yeah, I definitely agree with you there. More racers = more chaos!

Those of us that have this should get our friend codes together. I'd be up for some multiplayer with some fellow TCP'ers!

dude that pick up is nuts! I would be over the moon if I ever found a sliver of that. Gamecube games are quite the rarity in Australia :(
