So I wanta try put sg-1000 games onto SMS cartridges, still waiting on my eprom programmer to arrive from china :(

Been playing round with sg-1000 to sms conversion cover first mock up came out like this:

not sure how many rounds the game has....

So wouldn't mind doing this for most if not all of the sg-1000 library, should be fun

There's 4 rounds, but 4 keeps repeating forever and ever, so unlimited rounds in that sense.

OOOOooooo I'm going to like this thread.  ;D

I just recently bought an EPROM burner and my first successful repro yesterday.
I am really excited about putting SG-1000 and GameGear conversions to SMS.

Maybe do like "4(+)" or something?  To denote there's 4 legit different rounds?

I dunno, I never played the game, just spitballing.

I made Fix it Felix Jr for my 1st game ... and its AWESOME!

I haven't done any Master System repros yet. I have only made Genesis games so far as i wait for more EPROMs to arrive. I have 40 on the way from Hong Kong. Do you mind sending me some info about SG-1000 repros on SMS? I think i have Master System down but don't know much in this area.

Ohhhh if you get to the point where you can do these for reasonable prices, I would be so interested.  The conversions for sure, though the Fix It Felix Jr game might be pretty awesome too honestly.

Shenske - I need to get my writer working first to test my roms, I put the master system bios at the start of the sg-1000 games, it works on emulator just need to test it on carts, where did you get your eproms from? the 27C256 chip im using for sms, are $15NZD each locally at electronics stores, and bout $8 each from hong kong, need to find a cheap source, but then again need to make new sms pcbs :P.........and cartridge cases........and clamshells.........lol too much work.
But buying eproms for that price isn't really worth trying to sell them on as repros, unless you can get all parts cheap enough.

I thought that putting the sms bios in front of the sg1000 rom wont work on hardware with 100% rate, some will load, some wont, and colors will be messed up sometimes, but damned if I can find any info on it.  I thought Chris Covell (Well known nes programmer) converted some sg-1000s to SMS, but all I see are GG to SMS conversions, and he released the IPS patches for them too: http://www.chrismcovell.com/segahacking/gg2sms.html
