I have my degree in Media Arts. Making educational videos is one of the things I do for a living. Knowing that I should have a YouTube channel is something that's been on my mind for years but I didn't want to make another review show. After years of thinking and three weeks of work, this is what I came up with. Feed back would be appreciated.

I enjoyed this!  I think it's a pretty cool idea.

Since you asked for thoughts, I have two points that came up for me while watching:

1:  The text is small.  Even with my settings at 1080, I had to lean in a little to make sure I could read everything.  Blowing it up to full screen definitely helped, but I'm one of those guys who typically multitask and keep youtube videos their native size

2:  The spacing between the text bubble and the video. Because they are at a diagonal, I had to constantly shift my gaze diagonally to read, as well as see what you were talking about.  While this may not seem like a big deal, it isn't as natural a movement as left to right or up and down.  So my eyes got tired pretty quickly, coupled with the reading.

Again, great job!

I look forward to more.

Hmmm, I get the feeling you like Phantasy star.  Just a hunch.

Noted Megatron! I appreciate the feed back.

I am a Phantasy Star Fan. However, I'm figuring that if I continue, I'd have different characters from different universes give reviews. So, next season, it might be Mega Man or Samus talking about games.

Trivia + RPG aspect = gold.

Great video, I enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to more videos. Then it's easier to give constructive criticism. Until now there's really nothing worth noting that you could taake into consideration. Keep 'em coming :)

Thank all you guys! I am working on the next episode. Hopefully, I'll have it done in the next week or two. I appreciate the support. I am making small adjustments based on feedback.

The video is gorgeous and the topic was very interesting. My biggest complaint is that the text scrolls slowly, I kept reading past it and have to wait for it to finish. And as someone who hasn't played Sonic Jam, I was hoping you were going to touch on the additional modes you mentioned at the end of the video.

You could do a series on Ys differences, will be about a 30 hour video.  And bet they rerelease it twice before your done.

I know you're joking but my friend Dave, whom I'm including on this project wants to do an episode on Ys.

The pacing of the text has been an issue. I agree with you but most of my friends who gave me feedback stated that text would go by too fast; not because they were slow readers but because they'd be focused on the gameplay footage. So, I had to find a pace which allowed people to look up at the gameplay and to look down and finish reading.

I actually wanted to talk more about Sonic Jam but I worried that those watching would get bored.  I've heard the magic number for a youtube video is 7 minutes. After 7 minutes, people tend to move along.

Want any more info on it when you do it, hit me up.  I've been playing with Adol for years.  He enjoys it.
And if you can sneak a jab in on that dick nightwolve that's be great.  Doubt he'd remember me though, there's so many people he's pissed off over the years in his crazy pysco rants, no way he could keep them all straight.

Nicely done.  Just watched it for the first time.  You have a new subscriber now.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

I just started watching, I like the presentation but I think spoken word wold be better than text.
It's kinda annoying to read, and it distracts from the thing you are showing (The Sonic video) because your attention is guided away.
