Just finnished the video, here are some notes:

Complements:
Great presentation, all the GFX look great, and sets you apart from DYKG.
It was well written, the wording was nice and not to stiff.
Interesting fact as well.

Critiques:
- The video was a bit long for just that one fact, a 7 minute video telling you the clouds scroll, I was expecting other facts, and the other tid bit quickly skimmed over when you could have elaborated what was added, maybe something about the spike glitch or other revisional changes.
- I think voice recordings (With the on screen text) would help this a lot, it would speed up the pace of the video, and I think the small conversation at the end would benefit from being faster.

If you go with recording I suggest doing some practice or having someone in the room with you, With my Let's Play series, Power Plaid Plays, We have tons of sessions and we slowly grew more conferable with the mics, a lot of our earlier sessions were fairly stiff, and having someone to read the lines to helps to make it sound more natural than talking alone. Matt catches me a lot when I start a recording too corny or stiff and having someone two bounce off of, even if they are not in the video helps.

Thank you Larry for the feedback! Adding narration or voice actors is something that would be easy for me as I do mostly audio for a living. However, it would change the intent of the show. The general consensus seem to be that I have a pacing issue. So I'm going to try and tighten that up for the next episode. I'm sightly altering the format so it not dependent on watching gameplay. However, if there's anyone that hates reading, they'll definitely hate my show.

I've never seen your show. Thank you for pointing that out. I watched a few episodes today. Great job!

The second episode of my show is up. I changed the format a little bit. Hopefully it works better.

OK, nice video!  But on an unrelated topic - how do i pronounce your name?

Say-Gamer?
Sega-Mer?

Personally, I have been reading it as Saaay-ga-mer (basically adding MER to the Sega soundbyte at the beginning of Sonic)

Just curious, and finally felt the need to ask.

Say-Gamer is closet to how I pronounce it but either way is fine. Thank you for asking. :)

I've been saying "sega gamer" and will continue to say "sega gamer," so sue me. ;D

I do think the name is pretty clever though.  It's a lot more original than some guy who's into turbo diesel engines and also runs........ ;)
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Nice videos! Just watched parts 1 and 2.
Funny how we both posted a video on the same day.  :P
Matt and I recorded a session of Golden Axe for the Genesis, but the video did not save for some reason. It was a good session too, I at least still have all the audio commentary. I may upload a animated highlights video, or at least the raw audio at some point.
We are going to replay it at some point. We did not beat the game but came close.

On to your video
I still think a lack of a voice over is a  problem, with my attention being torn between the text and game play, but everything else was great.
Also that Indiana Jones logo looks out of place  ;)

I just doodled it in the Phantasy Star 2/3 font, and a flipped Genesis logo. I can make a clean one if you would like.

@Larry, Hmmmm... I should probably change the font to something more Phantasy Star like. However, I may change the theme in the next few episodes to another game universe. I'll try a Phantasy Star font to see how it looks.

I just watched all three videos for the first time and I like what I'm seeing for the most part. The presentation is excellent and it's a cool concept. However, I'm not liking the text very much. I know a few people complained the text was too slow in the first episode but I thought that was ok because I had a chance to see the gameplay. In the second and third episode I actually missed some text and had to go back because I was watching gameplay and it was gone before I could read it. I am not a slow reader at all, never have a problem keeping up with subtitles in movies, but I had a hard time keeping up the last few minutes of episode three. I don't know if you sped that up more or my eyes just got tired. I think maybe keep the same text scrolling speed for those who thought it was too slow but keep it on screen longer after text is done for those who read slower or are watching gameplay. I really like the sound the text makes because it tells me it's time to start reading now. I do however think that this would benefit greatly from having VoiceOver instead of text. I just didn't watch much gameplay because I was reading. Maybe you should redo the first episode with voice and no text to see if it makes it better. Hope this helps future episodes as even with my complaints I enjoyed watching them very much.

Yes, I actually increased the text speed in the third episode because everyone kept telling me, faster, faster and faster.  I am going to explore re-doing them with voice narration.

I think that I pronounced it like it should sound, in English the "E" sounds the same way as the "I" in Spanish

So, if you translate yes to Spanish is Si, if you hear it you'll understand what I'm saying  :P Ohh and Arseen should know too.

So, for me Segamer is like saying Si gamer (yes gamer) all together  ;D

Is that the right pronunciation?

I understand what you mean, but I pronounce it Finnish way which is like Sega (like the Genesis start-up, just not sung) + Merci without si.
