Actually, what region are you from?  Are you in an NTSC or Pal country ?

My snes is ntsc, and so is my mario rpg. I even tested the game on a top loader and the result was the same...:( help me...

I meant the mini snes...sorry.
Finally i confirmed that the problem is my cartridge, can i fix it? What could i try as a last resort? Really grateful, thanks.

Update: i got my gane fixed. I went to a technician and he used a heat gut and re solded the 4 chips and the game is as good as new
