Problem with Mario Rpg Cartridge (NTSC)

Pages: << < (3/5) > >>

sLpFhaWK:

Try it in a different console. This way you'll see if its the cart or the console if it does the same thing then its the cart and something is broken. really can't offer advice other than to rule out one or the other.

Ozzy_98:

The DKC games do not have special chips, that's all SNES there. Yoshi's uses FX-2, and the mega mans use Capcom's chip, so this is the only SA game you've tried.  The SA games use a CIC setup for regional locout, and I *THINK* it's pins are different than the FX and Capcom chips, so it may just be a case of one dirty pin.

Pepe_el_mago:

I cleaned all of the pins with a white eraser and alcohol, they are as good as new. Maybe ill try cleaning the conectors on the sa1 chip, i hope the problem is my snes but somehow i doubt it :(. Any other tips i could try?

BadChad:

I still say you should try on another SNES and see what happens. If nothing changes, at least you can rule that out. But there's no sense in wracking you brain over it if that's what turns out to be the issue.

Pepe_el_mago:

I cAn confirm that the game doesnt work on other snes (i tested it on 3 more and the same problem remains), so i can confirm the problem is the game. What else could i try? Im desperate here.
