Last time I left you, I was going through many demons, many struggles, and I turned to video games as my solace.  It didn't help but only numb the pain I was enduring.  Sure, I had a 85% complete in box US Vertical Boy Collection (only missing Jack Bros, Baseball, and Waterworld in box), a Phillips CDI and over 125 N64 games among other things, but that wasn't making my life happy.  The video game store I worked for payed next to nothing and most of my check went into the collection.

I needed something to change the state of my obsession as funds dwindled.  I was forced to sell my valuable collection one system at a time to pay the bills until I had almost nothing whatsoever.  I was determined at that point to change my life to get a job and do whatever it took to ensure that I wouldn't have to live life at the bottom of the barrel.

My plan is to get into management and try to move up in a reputable company.  As I had experience installing Flooring, I turned to Home Depot.  I also began talking to a girl who was going through a rough time as well and we began bonding with each other.  The 10th of February, I was hired at Home Depot, and with my last $20 in my bank, I took the girl I talked to out on Valentine's Day and we both fell in love.  She's the most amazing thing in my life and I want to make sure I work hard to know both of us can eventually move in together and live an amazing life.  I'm moving up at Home Depot; I'm leading in sales in my department for the 4th week straight and just got my health benefits to kick in.  Everything is starting to take shape again in my life and there still seems to be one thing missing, although I don't turn to it as much as I used to.

I still own one system, the one I grew up on and would never part with; My Super Nintendo.  I'm still collecting for it but only games I want, not every game in the library like I once was.  Who knows? I might be buying more systems now I'm getting some extra cash in now.  I've been eying a sega saturn for it's fighting library, and a ps3/4 for modern games.

I hope everyone's still well! I've been missing in action, but with full time and everything going on it's even hard to sleep or eat!  ;D

This is Chubby; He hates Game Case Sellers who steal our artwork to profit their lazy kingdoms.

But he sure loves his Shaq Fu!

First post and just wanted to say: I was thinking of Dave Chapelle's speech at the end of Half-Baked as I read this. I'm happy to hear you're in a good place. Congrats!
