PS2 - Shikigami no Shiro/Mobile Light Force 2 - NTSC

In recent conversation with my husband, I suggested that I could get him Castle Shikigami 3 for his birthday, because I know he liked Shikigami 2. He kind of liked this idea, then lamented that "they never brought the first one over."

It turns out they did, under the name "Mobile Light Force 2" - if you're not familiar with the situation, here's a Wikipedia article. It's a bastardized version of Shiro no Shikigami 1, with distressingly unrelated cover art - not related to the plot, the characters, or even the freaking art style

Anyway, now I'm thinking I'd like to get him MLF2 for his birthday as well, but I'm also thinking it would be nice to have an alternate cover for him - in part so it can properly go on the rack next to Shikigami 2.

Unfortunately, I don't know anything about these games other than the basic gameplay concept and the bad scripting in 2, so I don't even know where to start looking for artwork or what would actually be appropriate. I just know that I'd like the title to read as "Castle Shikigami" rather than "Shikigami no Shiro", and five minutes of Wikipedia research suggests that apparently it has five characters in common with Shikigami 2, so maybe some art assets from that would help? (And I guess Shikigami 2 was ported to pretty much everything in Japan and all those versions had different cover art, so maybe that's useful to know also?)

I can try to answer any questions, I guess.

This as been an off an on project for me. I want to make an English cover for my Japanese Xbox version of the game, as well as one to replace the ugly Mobile Light Force 2 cover. My plan is to use the Blue Xbox Shikigami no Shiro Evolution cover (in English) for the PS2 version. I'm actually gonna change the name of the game(s) to Castle of Shikigami 1 and 2 (adding the word "of") to reflect the Wii version of part 3:


I scanned my Blue cover and I'm gonna erase the word "Evolution" and put the English title Castle of Shikigami on it. Don't know what I'm gonna do for the back yet. Once the Wii version is out, I will make all three games spines match: parts 1 and 2 (PS2) and part 3 (Wii).

On a similar note, I need to work on Gunbird for PS1 (Mobile Light Force 1).
