Not bad. I already downloaded the vertical versions of your FF games and Chrono Trigger from FFC. The only problem I have with the covers is that the FF8 covers don't have the official artwork. Could you not find a good enough picture of the artwork to use?

That is the official artwork for the pal region PC version, I just couldn't find a satisfactory US version that didn't already have the Logo plastered on it.

Wasn't there a FF8 cover you made once that had the official artwork on it?

Yeah, when I first pitched the Vertical PSX style (before Sony released the MGS Collection) but the logo was two low for the look I was trying for. Plus I never actually uploaded that cover, it was just a test of what the template looked like.

But you still have it, don't you? You could use that. If not, well, I guess I could use the one you already made.

BEAUTIFUL!  I love them!

Pretty much.  Now I need some quality paper.

What kind of cases are you going to use for Final Fantasy 9 and the other 4 disk games?  I haven't decided but was tempted to toss the games into two 2 disk cases.

They make 4-disc standard size Amaray cases.

Yeah, but I always get annoyed since it has no literature tab.  I should probably bite the bullet and just do it anyways, I guess.

Hey, LJ. I have an idea. I think you should do the FFC cover for both FF IV and Chrono Trigger, simply for the fact that you can have it on the site..

Fantastic covers LJ, especially on the Final Fantasy ones. Heck I'm even planning on buying all of those games just so I can make use of your covers. :P

Only problem is that my PS2 copies of Final Fantasy X and XII aren't going to look quite so nice and uniform sitting next to your covers. I don't want to come across as forceful or rude or anything, but would you consider making PS2 covers for Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy XII (and maybe XI if you wish, I'm sure some people want it) in that style, so it all looks nice and uniform on our shelves? I'm sure we could all appreciate it if you could.

EDIT: Actually, all I need is just custom spines for the original X, XI, and XII covers so they match up on my shelf, assuming that's not much work of course. Thanks.

I think just a custom spine would work fine in creating the uniform look. Wouldn't be challenging at all I'm guessing if LJ used a Final Fantasy looking font instead of painfully recreating the logos for each game.

You know, you're right. A custom spine would be more than sufficient. In fact I think I'm going to edit my post asking just for that, because I know he likely has quite a workload.

You know what'd make that set of covers even more awesome? If you made a Chrono Cross one to match the Chrono Trigger. <3

That's not a bad idea. I'll do that and FF:Tactics in that style as well.
