In a few collection photos on the forum, I have seen some movie collections with art work that spreads across the spines of the entire series, and they have been noted as custom covers. I'm not the least bit skilled in doing any kind of graphical editing, otherwise I would do this myself...but I want to do this for my collection of Metal Gear Solid games. I realize I'm leaving a few games out (PSP titles and the upcoming MGS4, also the game boy color game, which was amazing), but this is for the titles I have on PS1, PS2, and Gamecube. It will also cover a number of repeated titles, just because I own (or will own soon in the case of one game) all of the different versions.
The spine art:

Slightly trimmed down, not including the watermark.
And the games included:
Metal Gear 1/2
Metal Gear Solid (PS1 DVD Box)
Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes
Metal Gear Solid VR Missions
Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons of Liberty
Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance
Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater
Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence
Metal Gear Solid 3 Bonus DVD
I know that there exists a lot of custom cases for most of the titles already, and those are actually the versions I would like.
For example, MGS:

MGS3

http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?game_id=1283I'm not sure about the DVD art, as there file on the site already, but I can possibly scan it myself and upload it. I would need to hit the guides to figure out how to do it really well, but if it is needed (as I expect), I will take care of it. Also, I am completely unsure of how to handle Metal Gear 1 and 2, as they are part of the Subsistence set.
Some other minor details I figure I would need to include are that I would still want the title logos on the spines, as well as system logos and such important markers. I know that mixing in the Gamecube title may cause some...minor weirdness to it, but I figure that box will look okay at the top of the spine as it is at the bottom.
I look forward to seeing if anyone is up to this, or just how many people are going to call me insane as a result of this request. However, I'd like to see that I'm not the only person who would like to see how this would turn out because it's an interesting concept (to me, anyways) and I would hope that it may carry on to some other series later on.
