I've really been liking the orchestrated scores in the recent Mario and Zelda games, and Mario Kart 8 sounds fantastic from what I've heard so far.

Out of the games I've played recently, Chrono Trigger has a banging soundtrack. The Corridors of Time (Zeal Theme) is so catchy.

Ocean loader 2 on the c64, and title music from hybris on the Amiga. That is all. ;D

My all time favourites are the Mega Man III title screen and pretty much the entirety of the Super Castlevania IV soundtrack.
