Bah it's going to be all Zelda, Castlevanias, and Squaresoft games over and over. Don't worry I'll mix it up some with some real music:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ga5XgS5-uF0&list=PL235524C3DC1B442B <-- Entire gate of thunder soundtrack rocks. This was released in 1992, so same time games like Contra III: The Alien Wars (Snes), Bee 52 (Nes), Fatal Fury 2 (Neo Geo) all came out.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yELuvkU32Lg&list=PL714885386BC83971 <-- Ys, the ideal utopia. It's pronounces Eece, like Fleece without the FL part. It's not "easy without the y" and it's not in any way, shape, or form, "Wise". This version of Ys was released in 1989. So it's peers were Adventures of Lolo, Ducktails, and a boy and his blob. The Genesis was just released in the states when this soundtrack came out. And it still kicks any of the Gen's soundtrack's asses.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PmV-Uk_-Tgw <-- I'm biases as all f-ck about this game. My first RPG ever, and first introduction to D&D. It's also still one of the best tactical RPGs ever. It's sequel pools of darkness IS the best ever. EVER.
And I do believe I am winning this thread at this point.
