I remember it, but the prizes were diffrent when I saw it:

I remember looking at it in geometry class.  Something I still do not use in 20+ years of learning it.  And I was even a game programmer (hobbiest), and nothing I learned in school helped me there.

Should have paid more attention to matrix math though, I forget how it works.

Edit: Had an extra flappy thing (/) killing my img link

I remember when having an entertainment center meant having 5 or more components like that lol!  CD player, tuner/amp, cassette player, graphic equalizer, turntable, etc.

Oh yeah, i remember those in GamePro.

A buddy of mine that lived down the street entered it once and the second puzzle was some kind of high-scoring point tally type game, nothing like what was in the ad to begin with. It was actually pretty challenging.

Yeah, I remember that too.............  I remember it so well that I still have it all setup.  I guess I'm missing the turn table though.

I still really like the look of that type though.  Part of me would like to do it again if I could find it for next to nothing.  Heck, especially a modernized version where the amp had labelled choices for "Computer", "MP3 player", etc.

But heck, I don't even keep an MP3 collection these days, just use youtube or pandora when I'm in the mood for music (which isn't really all that often), so I'm certainly not spending any real amount of money on it.
