Got three items today and yesterday

The FFV I thought I owned, but when I looked over my old notes, turns out it wasn't missing, I never bought one. Thought I'd better correct that, since it was my fave, and I already had a cover printed for it.

The SSI game is in rough shape, but has a cluebook with it, that alone was worth the price.  I focus on the gold box games, but since I'm only missing Neverwinter Nights ($200+ when it shows up, and it almost never shows up), it may be a while.

The bag in the background is a Z-bag. used for carrying your nes over to a friends house.  It was cheap so thought I'd pick it up.

I have a Kinivo 501BN.  I had a cheap 3 port switch at one point too that did not work either. I have tried the "tricks" that people suggested with no luck but I think some people have got it to work with various on/off hot swaping techniques... still more of a pain then it should be.

What resolution does your TV run at?  I've heard theories that if the TV and switch box are not the same resolution, you can have problems.  For example, if the switch box max resolution is 1080p, but the TV max is only 1080i, then you might not get an image on the screen.  Again, it's a theory I've read about.

I'm still probably gonna keep the thing.  I think I'll fire it up tomorrow night and see what's what.

These are the switch boxes I'm using.
Three of them have four sets of composite, s-video, component, analog audio, digital optical, and ethernet.
The other one has four sets of HDMI and digital optical.
All four boxes let you name each input such as NES, SNES, N64, Wii ect...

How many systems can you hook up in one of those switch box?

Each box has four inputs.  However, depending on the system, you can hook up more.  Everything is a pass through and there is no up-conversion.  That means if you have two systems that use completely different audio/video sources, they can run through the same input.

For example, the PS1 uses S-video with analog audio and the PS2 uses component video with digital optical audio.  Since they aren't sharing any inputs, they can both run through the same input.

I like these switch boxes a lot if you couldn't tell.  I'm looking for three more if anyone has any they are selling.  I need one more HDMI switch and two more component switches.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Today I nabbed three Xbox games

Blood wake
Star Wars Starfighter
and Outlaw Golf...all for $1 each in good condition.

and in the Blood wake case, under the disc there was a surprise...a copy of Willy Beamish on Sega CD...so random. Maybe they hacked their Xbox and was trying to run a Sega Genesis/CD emulator...I dunno.

Damn, man.  This is crazy lol

At least that's my initial guess... I would post that over at Nintendo Age.  Those guys can definitely point you in the right direction.

Thanks for the link!  haha MA is usually tough to game hunt in.  This is the first time I've found anything "rare" in about a decade, besides some harder to find master system games.
