Or I had one where the power connector in the back got loose and needed to be re-soldered. If you reeeeally get into the CV, there's a guy named Yurkie over on Atariage who does a ton of mods for them including replacing the video ram so that it can all run off of a single voltage like god intended. Also has the side effect of negating the need to reinforce your outlet so you can strap that damn brick to it (you know what I'm talking about) Alternatively, if you kindareally get into it, look for a Canadian power supply. The canucks were much smarter than us idiot americans and their power supplies are like a laptop supply, where the huge-ass brick is in the MIDDLE of the cord. It'll be a little pricey, but a: is cheaper than the power mod and b: has good resale value if you ever decide you want to do the power mod. |

When transformed it's only like 8 inches tall, so probably not. Hopefully it gets a sleek paint job, as it won't be that plain gray. |
