Wiggy I was SOOOOOOOOO Upset when I missed the 3DS XL Charging dock on club.nintendo =( I really hope they put it back on there again but I highly doubt it. Man it looks so good! Congrats

After a quick search on ebay I found 2 cradles for $45 in the US one white one red, and a blue one for 27 bux. I have the Red Pokemon XL so either red or white would work I don't know if I want to get the blue one, but it's only a cradle. ugh decisions. Is it worth 18 bux more lol

Me too! I saw it was available while i was at work and i couldn't order it from my phone (browser was freaking out). By the time i got home from work ... gone.

Plus, I really wish they had a black one available so it would match my system.

I put in an order at Console5 for a bunch of modding parts.
o   S-video chassis connectors
o   RCA chassis connectors
o   Multiple color LEDs
o   Misc. resistors and capacitors

Also, while I was there, I noticed they had a small selection of games.  Their prices weren’t supper cheap, but there were some good deals.  What I can’t believe, is how good the condition of everything was in.  The jewel cases don’t have scratches on them (except for Doom).  The games look brand new and the manuals are excellent.  I would recommend checking them out if you get a chance.  The part I couldn’t believe was that I placed the order late Saturday night and I received the package today.

All are CIB except for Columns:
•   Dragon’s Lair (Sega CD)
•   Doom (Sega Saturn)
•   Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine (Sega Genesis)
•   Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Sega Game Gear)
•   The Jungle Book (Sega Game Gear)
•   Columns (Sega Game Gear)
•   Ford Racing (Sony Playstation 1)
•   Super Nintendo Cleaning Kit

I also got a case for my Game Gear.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Thanks!

Here's the trick, make sure you're searching worldwide, and search for "3DS LL (charge, cradle, dock)"

For you, just add "black" to that search.  You're welcome :)

Nintendo had black cradles available on the Nintendo Online Store, they no longer do, Maybe send a e-mail to see if there us any left.  :(
I would have got one, but I got a case on mine so it would be useless.
Maybe I should get one, it might be rare in the future.  ;D

Now you need an sd2ide for the vic20.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Commodore-64-128-1541-Disk-Drive-Emulation-SD2IEC-SD-Card-Reader-/261474111103?pt=US_Vintage_Computing_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3ce1124e7f

Look around, there's a ton of different cases for it.  And if you ever upgrade (or already have) a C-64, it'll work on that too.

Nothing big here, but I am happy now that I don't have anything hooked up via composite video anymore :)

Actually a pretty decent cable IMO.

I have that same cable and I've been happy with it.  Unfortunately, I'm still using composite on some of my other systems.  I'm working to change that with some of the parts I ordered this week.

Let's see, I'm still stuck with composite on the following:
  NES
  Master System
  Genesis
  Atari 2600
  Odyssey2

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

I'm not updating my video on consoles, even though I keep flip-flooping on that idea.  For the same reason people want to use the original hardware.  My setup, when complete, will be all consoles going to the CRT and a flat screen (My switcher can route to each), and I'll be using a computer with hdmi or vga to the flat screen.  I'll most likely route a TV out back to the switcher too.  This way I can use the raw RGB right from the processors on the emulators, and all the advantages they have (Like disabling snes sound interpolations and low pass filters on some games), and still have the legit "This is how it was" hookups too.

I may however add AV mods to the RF devices, and run both switched, I have to think about that. Many of those mods remove the RF component completely for space, something I don't want to do.

I have been going back and forth as well.  However, I finally came to a decision.  I will not mod any system which I am the original owner, or in other words, I will not mod any system which I bought new.  I just can't bring myself to make changes to something original like that.  However, if I bought it used, who cares if I make changes?  Therefore, all my Sega systems are up for modification, and that's what I'm currently working on.  I'm even considering modifying my Saturn and Dreamcast to have s-video out so that I can use whatever length cable I want (which may come in handy whenever I make my custome console cabinet). ;)

I like 2D Fighters like SF etc, RPG's definitely, and t hats really it. Racing games are fun too i know it has Daytona and that is a fun game to pass time. D&D Side scrollers i'm not familiar with.

If you like 2D fighters there's nothing better than a Saturn, especially with it's massive JP fighter library.

It also has some of the best strategy rpgs around, Dragon Force!!!!!!! rocks, PDS is a classic!

This.

Street fighter collection
Street fighter alpha 1 & 2
Street fighter zero 3
Cyberbots
X-Men vs SF
Marvel vs SF
X-men: Children of the Atom
Marvel Super Heroes
Darkstalkers
Vampire Hunter
Vampire Savior
KOF series
Virtua Fighter
Fighter's Megamix
Etc...

Legend of Oasis (Sweet Zelda-esque top-down adventure/RPG)
Shining Force 3
Dragon Force
Shining Wisdom
Arcus Odessy
Magic Knight Rayearth
Princess Crown (2D action side-scrolling RPG)
Panzer Dragoon Saga (one of my fav RPGs ever. Super moody).

We should also mention that for most of the RPG stuff you have to pay an absolute premium nowadays sadly.

I also forgot to mention one off my favourite games of all time. Radiant Silvergun. For me personally the pinnacle of
shooting perfection. I still suck at it though. ;D

Arguably the best game on the system.  Not arguably the most expensive. Lol.
