I got Crash Bandicoot 3 and Spyro 1 for 99 cents each. Never played Spyro before, looking forward to it.

Had a pretty solid pick up yesterday to boost my 3DS collection ->

15 a piece. Not the deal of the century but considering the quality in this lot good enough for me. :)
2 + 3 = 23

Target has OUYA's on sale for $69.99. When I took my receipt yesterday to get the difference back...ARGh, i missed that deadline by a 4 days.  I haven't even had time to open it, so I guess that'll will be my first May pick-up...when i get around to picking it up off the desk and plugging it in.
Do we have a "ON SALE/CLEARANCE" thread where we can put this information?

Since its unopened...can't you return it and re buy it?  I'm sure their return policy is much longer then their price adjustment time frame

Or buy it again at the clearance price then return the newly bought one with the old receipt.

No, the receipt said that it had until April 28th to be returned, since it was electronics. I thought my RED card gave me an extra 30 days, but evidently not for that.

For those of you with OUYA's, is it worth it for that price?  I'm on the fence.

90% of a Ouya is stuff on android. With a Bluetooth controller and hdmi out, your phone can do just about the same thing.  And if you're like me and been into emulation for years, it seems almost a step back to buy.  But if you want to try emulation and don't have a good setup for it, it would be a great buy. Android emulators are not on par with Windows emulators so you get a very watered down experience however.  But since most are using by now well-documented cores, you won't have any issues game-play wise. 99% of people wouldn't even be able to list any emulation issues without googling them first.

This was sort of the answer I was expecting.  I bought one about 30 minutes ago on my lunch break.  I think I'll take my chances.  With the price break, I thought what the hell?  In additon to the price break, you can get $10 prepaid OUYA cards for only $8.  I picked up a few since it's basicaly free money.

It's also worth mentioning that my HDMI switcher has an open spot, just sitting there unused......  yes I based part of my buying decision on the fact that I had an empty spot to fill. :P

hell, even knowing what it does, how it works, and how to make a better setup (Like my arcade machine), I've still been tempted to get one.

Think of it as a gateway drug to emulation.  Soon I'll have you using hi-res texture packs in Zelda on N64

Got this today from game stop. I work at walmart & they had it there but my boss refused to sell it to me because the register kept asking for a serial number for the game even though it doesnt have one. He could have easily over-ridden the promt on the register but he told me that because of it, I wouldn't be able to buy the game today. So I said that I'll just go to damn game stop then it's just across the street. They try to sell you shit you don't need there but atleast they're nice about it.

If you're looking for a way to conveniently emulate then I'd say it's not worth it. Anything above Snes will wrestle the hardware to its knees and SNES and Genesis games have rare hickups too. But when you put XBMC on it, the Ouya becomes a neat little media center and streaming box. And since it's very small and uses bluetooth you can place it behind the TV or hide it somewhere out of sight.

I use it to listen to internet Radio, watch live tv, stream tv shows and movies and I like it. But as a gaming machine I'd say not worth it. You'll have more fun with a Windows Phone 8.
