very impressive i dont have quite as much games as you but i make up for it in dvds lol so im building a drawer system for storage. kinda like the counters at gamestop stores it'lll be 5 or 6 drawers high and be able to hold two rows worth of dvds or rather Sega CD sized cases then on top will be book shelves  to display the stuff i use most often if i ever have a place big enough id like to have shelves with glass doors to display everything but with the drawer system ill be able to put 16 rows worth of stuff where i can only put 9 rows now .

You might wanna use 7mm thin packs. (I am currently doing this with my DVDs)
;D   Half the size means twice the games!   ;D

Yeah - moving to 7mm for my PC stuff, and then i think 9mm for everything else.  Being in europe, most manuals are multi lingual, and won't fit in a 7mm case  >:(

No chance with most saturn stuff - then again - they are slightly too long anyway!

The other thing i am 'considering' is keeping the manuals separate - but i don't think i like that idea..................

Hey I was wondering if you could tell me, in you're console shelving, there's an Atari 7800 box and on top there's a console. Could you tell me what's that console, if it's a SNES could you tell me what's plugged on top

I believe that's a PSone sitting atop a SNES. Or some weirdass japanese hybrid console....yeah, I'd go with the first one  ;)

well - after getting so close to completing my games room before, I have now moved house (and country)

Packing up was a pain in the a$$, but the unpacking/reshelving/sorting/finding everything is even worse!

Here's the view from my new games room that makes it all worthwhile:

on a clearer day the pyranees are much more visible.

boxes still to unpack for the office/games room alone:

I have shelved 1 wall - but clearly i need MORE:

will update as i get more unpacked/shelved/set up - plan is to have all systems usable.....wish me luck!

The main 'wall of game' - Most disk based software lives here (stitched photo)

Cart software lives on this wall

Portable gaming

Systems are here - 360 not unpacked yet, and PS3 usually in the lounge, but currently being retiled so it's up here to avoid the dust.  My new amiga 1200 will live in that spot when it gets here.
From left to right we have:
Top: PS3, Wii, Atari 7800
Mid: SNES, N64, Saturn, XBox, MK1 Master System, PS One, PS1, PS2, Megadrive 1 with MegaCD, Dreamcast, Jaguar
Bottom: Intellivision with Intellivoice, Colecovision with Rollerball, and Steering Wheel.
